I recently had the pleasure of attending the Café del Mar Moët & Chandon Dinner where we were taken on a journey of Moët & Chandon, the history of the champagne as well as some of the vintages.
My favourites being the Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial as well as the Moët & Chandon 2006 Grand Vintage. Two very different champagnes I know but this is what I loved about the night.
Vintages are made from a single harvest and the 2006 didn’t fail to impress. The fruity notes combined with the floral notes when left for a while in the glass really sum up this full bodied champagne well. The Moët & Chandon Ice Imperial on the other hand provided a sweeter experience which made it very easy to drink and enjoy as the sun went down.
Café del Mar Sydney delivered with a great sundowner venue and hosted the dinner accurately pairing each dish to a specific champagne with the food not only being quality but really complimenting Moët & Chandon champagne.
Check out my video below which summed up this amazing experience nicely.
