YouTube Music and Google knows how to throw a party and they hosted an unforgettable evening out. Taylor Swift is in Sydney Australia and with 31 Million Subscribers of YouTube and a top played YouTube Music artist, she’s well known. With that I was surprised with the chance to see Taylor Swift and her Reputation Tour.
Of course YouTube Music put on their own little Green Room on a Yacht that took us to the Taylor Swift while we got to play with their latest releases, namely the Pixel 3 and Google Home Hub. There was also an awesome range of canape and you know how I love food, music and tech.
It was also a good time to get to know fans of Taylor Swift and talk to Google about their new devices they have out and how it fits in the market. I took my trusty Pixel 2 with for photos and videos on the night. In fact all of the photos which you’ll see below at taken on the Pixel 2 and are not touched up.
Arriving at ANZ Stadium the atmosphere was electric. Also literally because there was a storm on the way which I’d have later found out. Charlie XCX really opened things up nicely and really got everyone singing and dancing as the night went on.
There was an electrical storm and a short delay but just when things seemed to have calmed down the downpour really came and we all got soaked, but it didn’t matter because it was a vibe and really such an experience.
Taylor Swift came out in style opening with Ready For It and from that moment on, it was all worth it and the rain didn’t really matter. Her Reputation album which she released last year is a lot more grown up and far more edgy and I really enjoyed it.
She really knows how to deliver a performance and her vocal talents really stood out. She’s a real performer and owned it throughout the elements and rocked the crowd. The Reputation Stadium Tour was a memorable experience and a big thanks to YouTube Music and Google for making it possible
