Cafe del Mar Sydney are known for their Sunday Sessions and if you didn’t know, now you do. It’s one of my choice spots come Sunday afternoon / evening and this past weekend they hosted the Sneaky Sundays pop-up at Cafe del Mar Sydney.
It’s not all about the dancing as they do have a great food and wine as I’ve been a few times to their restaurant. For Sneaky Sundays pop-up they had a special menu and I thought I’d share some of my choices.
Cafe del Mar do have a full menu you can choose from too but as mentioned above, I thought I’d try their Sneaky Sundays pop-up menu. For me the clear winners were the mouth-watering gnocchi with puree, asparagus and ricotta. It looks good but tastes even better.
It may be the start of Autumn but the sun is shining on weekends so had to go with something light and refreshing so combined that with the Mango, spiced chickpea, spinach and cauliflower salad. Nothing wrong with good balance.
That combined with Cafe del Mar’s quality cocktails or champagne and you can’t go wrong. If you see these on any menu, I’d highly recommend them.
After a good meal, there’s nothing like getting on the dance floor and Sneaky Sundays really turned it up with their deep sounds and vocals to match. I couldn’t wait to get out there, enjoy some good cocktails and dance the night away with good friends.
Another quality night out and as I believe Cafe del Mar Sydney have some surprises in store in the coming weekends and some international DJ’s coming in toward the end of April. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
